Thank you for choosing Bluewake Outboards. This Shipping Policy explains how we process and deliver outboard motors, marine GPS devices, and marine radar systems to customers worldwide.

We ensure transparent, secure, and reliable global shipping that meets both EU consumer law

1. Countries We Ship To

We ship globally, including:

  • European Union (all member states)
  • United Kingdom
  • United States & Canada
  • Asia (Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, UAE)
  • Middle East
  • Australia & Oceania
  • Africa
  • South America & Caribbean

All units are shipped in OEM factory-sealed packaging or certified export crates.

3. Handling Time

Handling time refers to how long it takes us to prepare, pack, and process your order before dispatch.

Handling Times

  • Outboard motors: 1–2 business days
  • Marine GPS and Radar: 1–2 business days

Orders confirmed before 12:00 CET are processed the same business day whenever possible.
No processing occurs on Sundays or public holidays.

4. Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery time depends on destination, transportation method, and customs processing.

Within the European Union

  • Outboards (road/air freight): 2–7 business days
  • Marine electronics (courier): 1–4 business days

International Shipping

  • Air Freight: 5–10 business days
  • Courier Electronics: 3–7 business days
  • Sea Freight (special request): 15–28 days

These are estimated transit times provided by carriers; actual times may vary.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated based on:

  • Weight and dimensions of the product
  • Destination country
  • Shipping method
  • Packaging and crating requirements
  • Insurance (optional but recommended)

I’ve provided all shipping costs in your official quotation before any payment is made. We do not charge hidden fees.

6. Packaging & Crating

Outboard Motors

Shipped using:

  • Manufacturer factory crates
  • Reinforced export pallets
  • Moisture-resistant wrapping
  • Shock-absorbing protection

Marine GPS & Radar

Shipped using:

  • OEM boxes
  • Protective foam
  • Double-layer packaging for international orders

We follow strict export-grade packaging standards to ensure safe delivery.


7. Shipping Insurance (Recommended)

We offer optional shipping insurance for:

  • All outboard motors
  • High-value marine electronics

Insurance protects against:

  • Transit damage
  • Loss or theft
  • Handling issues

If insurance is declined, Bluewake Outboards is not responsible for damages once the carrier accepts the shipment.

8. Tracking Information

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • Tracking number
  • Carrier information
  • Estimated delivery date
  • Required documents (Airway Bill, Commercial Invoice, etc.)

Tracking updates typically appear within 24–48 hours.

9. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international orders, the customer is responsible for:

  • Import duties
  • VAT / GST
  • Customs clearance charges
  • Local handling fees

We provide all necessary export documentation:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Certificate of Origin (if required)
  • Manufacturer technical documents

Customs inspections or delays are outside our control.

10. Risk of Loss & Damage

Risk transfers to the customer once the shipment is handed to the carrier, in accordance with §447 BGB for B2B sales.

Upon delivery, please inspect:

  • Packaging condition
  • Crate or box integrity
  • Signs of tampering or damage

If damage is visible, follow these steps:

  1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt
  2. Take photos immediately
  3. Keep all packaging materials
  4. Report the issue within 24 hours to: sales@bluewakeoutboards.com

Failure to report immediately may affect insurance or carrier claims.

11. Incorrect Address or Delivery Attempts

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Unreachable recipient
  • Missing import documents

Return freight, re-delivery, and storage fees will be charged to the customer.

12. Delivery Refusal

If delivery is refused without prior authorization:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Re-delivery fees
  • Storage and administrative charges

…will apply and be deducted from any eligible refund.

13. Delays Beyond Our Control

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Customs authorities
  • Shipping carriers
  • Weather disruptions
  • Port congestion
  • Strikes
  • Political events
  • Peak seasonal traffic

We will provide updates when such delays occur.
