Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship outboard motors, marine GPS systems, and radar units worldwide, including the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Middle East, Asia, Africa, Australia, and South America.

2. How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary by region:

  • EU: 2–7 business days
  • USA/Canada: 5–10 business days
  • Asia & Middle East: 5–12 business days
  • Africa & South America: 7–14 business days

Marine electronics shipped by courier usually arrive in 1–4 days within the EU.

3. How long is your handling time?

Handling time is:

  • 1–3 business days for outboards
  • 1–2 business days for GPS and radar units

Orders confirmed before 12:00 CET are processed the same day when possible.

4. How are outboards packaged for shipping?

All outboard motors are shipped in:

  • OEM factory crates
  • Reinforced export pallets
  • Moisture-protected wrapping
  • Shock-absorbing packaging

GPS/Radar units are shipped in original manufacturer boxes with added protective layers.

5. Do I get a tracking number?

Yes. Once your order ships, we send you:

  • Tracking number
  • Carrier details
  • Estimated delivery date
  • Documentation (Commercial Invoice, Airway Bill, etc.)

6. Who is responsible for customs charges or taxes?

For customers outside the EU, local customs duties, import taxes, and port charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

We provide all required export documents to help clear customs.

7. Do you offer shipping insurance?

Yes. Insurance is optional but strongly recommended for outboards and high-value electronics.
If insurance is declined, we are not responsible for damage once the carrier receives the shipment.

8. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer only to our verified business account.
This ensures compliance with our dealer network, secure payment flow, and anti-fraud standards.

We do not accept credit cards, PayPal, checks, or cash.

9. Why do you accept only bank transfers?

Because we source engines directly from authorized dealer networks, which require bank-to-bank settlement for reservation and allocation.
This method also ensures secure, traceable payment with a UETR reference.

10. When will my order be shipped after payment?

Orders are shipped only after:

  1. Payment is received in full
  2. Inventory allocation is confirmed
  3. Export documentation is prepared

Typical dispatch time: 1–3 business days.

11. Can I cancel my order after payment?

Because outboards and marine electronics are special-order items, cancellations are generally not possible once the unit has been reserved or shipped.

Exceptions apply only for orders not yet allocated or where required by law.

12. Do you offer returns?

Returns are accepted only if:

  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The item arrives damaged
  • The product is defective upon delivery

All returns require a Return Authorization from our support team.

13. What if my order arrives damaged?

If damage is visible:

  1. Note it on the delivery receipt
  2. Take photos immediately
  3. Keep all packaging
  4. Report the damage within 24 hours to sales@bluewakeoutboards.com

We will assist with an insurance claim or replacement.

14. Are the outboard motors original and new?

Yes. All outboards (Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu, Mercury, Honda) are:

  • 100% brand-new
  • OEM factory units
  • Sourced only through authorized distributor networks
  • Delivered in sealed crates with serial numbers and compliance documents

15. Do outboard engines come with manufacturer warranty?

Yes. All engines include full manufacturer warranty, depending on brand:

  • Yamaha: 3–5 years
  • Suzuki: 3–6 years
  • Tohatsu: 3–5 years
  • Mercury: 3–5 years
  • Honda: 5 years

Warranty is activated after registration with the manufacturer.

16. Can I service the engine at any marine workshop?

Warranty service must be performed by an authorized dealer or marine technician for the corresponding brand.

Using non-authorized service providers may void warranty coverage.

17. Do you install the outboards?

We do not provide installation services.
Outboards must be installed by certified marine technicians to maintain warranty eligibility.

18. What documents will I receive with my order?

Each shipment includes:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Serial number documentation
  • Manufacturer warranty information
  • Airway Bill or Bill of Lading
  • Certificate of Origin (if required)
