1. Our Commitment

2. Shipping Within the Eurozone
Operating from Hamburg, Germany, Bluewake Outboards provides secure and efficient delivery across all EU member states and the United Kingdom.

- Courier or road service (DHL, DPD, UPS, FedEx, MyGermany)
- Suitable for spare parts and small engines
- Estimated delivery time: 3–7 business days
Freight Delivery
- Palletized or crated shipments for engines and large equipment
- Shipped via trusted European freight carriers
- Average transit time: 3–7 business days
VAT & Customs
- Intra-community supplies to EU VAT-registered businesses are zero-rated, subject to a valid VAT number.
- All shipments include a commercial invoice, packing list, and tracking information.
3. Worldwide Shipping
Bluewake Outboards ships globally to North America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific.
Shipping Options
- Air Freight (Express): Urgent or lightweight shipments
- Sea Freight (FCL / LCL): Engines or multiple-unit consignments
- Warehouse Dispatch: Orders may ship from authorized partner warehouses to reduce transit time
Typical Transit Times
- Air Freight: 3–10 business days
- Ocean Freight: 10–30 business days, depending on destination and carrier schedules
All export shipments are professionally packaged using ISPM-15 certified crates, moisture protection, and shock-resistant materials. Full export documentation is included for customs clearance.
4. Return Eligibility
You may request a return or exchange if:
- The item was damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery, or
- The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging, and
- The request is submitted within the applicable return period
Returns Cannot Be Accepted For:
- Custom-built, configured, or special-order products
- Electrical components once unpacked or installed, where opening compromises safety, functionality, or compliance
- Items damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or modification
5. Consumer Return Periods
EU & EEA Consumers
- You have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and §§ 355–356 BGB.
Non-EU Consumers
- Returns are accepted within up to 30 days of delivery, unless local consumer law grants a longer period.
Business Customers (B2B)
- Return requests must be submitted within 7 business days of delivery and are subject to written approval.
Requests outside the applicable return window cannot be accepted unless approved in writing by Bluewake Outboards.
6. Worldwide Returns & Refund Conditions
Return Authorization
All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RAN) before shipment. Return instructions and the correct return address will be provided upon approval.
Returns may be processed at our Hamburg service center or an authorized regional warehouse, depending on the product and location.
Duties & Taxes
- Outbound VAT, customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
- Cross-border returns must be clearly marked “Returned Goods – No Commercial Value” and include the RAN to avoid re-import charges.
Risk in Transit
Returned items remain the sender’s responsibility until received and inspected. All returns must be shipped insured and trackable.
7. Inspection & Refund Processing
- All returned goods are inspected by our marine service department.
- Approved refunds or replacements are processed within 7–14 business days after inspection.
- Non-defective or discretionary returns may be subject to a handling fee of up to 0%.
- All inspections follow manufacturer procedures and are fully documented.
8. Refund Method
- Refunds are issued via bank transfer to the original payer, as bank transfer is the accepted payment method for purchases made with Bluewake Outboards.
- Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency.
- Exchange rate differences and international bank fees are not covered.
- Processing time depends on the recipient’s bank and typically appears within 3–10 business days after approval.
9. Warranty-Related Returns
All engines and propulsion systems include the official manufacturer’s warranty, registered prior to shipment.
Warranty claims must include:
- Product serial number
- Invoice or warranty documentation
- Photos or videos clearly showing the issue
Our certified technicians coordinate directly with OEM-authorized service networks for repair or replacement.
10. Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return results from our error.
- All shipments must be insured, tracked, and marked “Returned Goods – No Commercial Value.”
- For engines and oversized items, professional freight collection can be arranged upon request.
11. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled free of charge prior to dispatch.
- Once shipped, standard return conditions apply.
- Custom or configured products cannot be cancelled after order confirmation.
12. Legal Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
EU consumers may withdraw from their purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, notify us by email or post within the withdrawal period. We will confirm receipt and provide return instructions.
A model withdrawal form (Annex I of Directive 2011/83/EU) is available upon request.
